Claudia Ion, the new Commercial Director of Intact TV stations

Intact Media Group announces the appointment of Claudia Ion to the position of Commercial Director of the TV stations (Antena 1, Antena Stars, Antena 3, Euforia, ZU TV) and online and mobile platforms of the Group. Shortly after she was appointed to create a dedicated sales team for the leader news channel, Antena 3, Claudia Ion makes the next step, by taking the leadership of the entire TV portofolio. From this position she will develop the TV division’s sales strategy and coordinate its implementation, enhancing the integrated audience of the Group and identifying new opportunities.

„We will work as a mix team: the one of Antena Group and that of Antena 3, bringing together the strengths of each. Those who know me know that I like to be straightforward. For now, I say this: I came, and we have started working”, said Claudia Ion.

Claudia Ion is a name known in the media landscape in Romania and beyond. She is the second time on the Board of EGTA – Association of Television and Radio Sales Houses, based in Brussels, bringing together 127 members from 38 countries. She began her career in 1991 at Radio Contact, during the time of the launching and development of the media agencies, in the 90s. She was Commercial Director at TVR, Deputy General Manager of the Sales House Arbo Media, and served as commercial director of Kanal D for the past nine years. In the past two months, Claudia Ion created and coordinated a team of dedicated sales people for the projects of Antena3.
