GEORGE URECHE – General Manager

George Ureche took the lead of Antena Group in March 2018, coordinating, from this position, the TV stations Antena 1, Antena Stars, Happy Channel, ZU TV, as well as the digital platforms AntenaPlay, laJumate.ro and other complementary content platforms. George has an experience of 8 years in PWC (2000-2005 and 2015-2018) and of a decade in the media industry (as Business Development Manager in the MediaPro Group)

MIHAI GADEA – CEO & General Manager ANTENA 3

Host, Sinteza Zilei (The Daily Summary)

Mihai Gîdea is one of Romania’s premier journalists and the guiding force behind ANTENA 3, the country’s highest-rated news channel. The Association of Broadcasting Professionals awarded him the Best Talk Show Host for 2010 and in 2011 honored him with a special Jury Prize for Best Talk Show.

Mihai began his television career in 2002 as a producer and in 2004 he joined Intact Media Group where he was an on-camera presenter and began his award-winning talk show SINTEZA ZILEI (2005). In 2007 he assumed the role of CEO and launched ANTENA 2 which, after only 3 years, became one of the Top 10 most watched television stations in the country.

Beginning in June 2010, Mihai assumed the roles of CEO and General Manager of ANTENA 3.  Under his leadership ANTENA 3 has experienced incredible growth becoming the #1 news stations and, on many days, the #1 TV station in the country.

DIGITAL ANTENA GROUP

AUGUSTIN ROMAN – Executive Director

Augustin Roman began his career in the print area, holding various management positions until becoming Executive Manager of one of the most important sports newspaper in Romania, Gazeta Sporturilor. In this role, he coordinated the gsp.ro site’s development, which became a reference website for sports fans. In 2007, he was appointed Executive Director of the Division Gazeta Online, developing a network of over 20 sites, through a strategy of on and offline editorial integration. Since 2009, he is in charge of the online division of the group, coordinating all projects in this area, including the launch of the on demand video platform  Antena Play.

RADIO

RODICA MINCULESCU – General Manager Grupul Media Camina

Rodica is one of the Group’s veterans; her career is tied to Intact radio division. Rodica held a variety of roles since 1994, starting with Radio Romantic, where she was playlist editor, publisher and editor in chief coordinator. She is now Administrator GMC, the company that owns the two radio stations of the group, Romantic FM and Radio ZU.

Alessandra Stoicescu

Sandra Stoicescu is one of the most respected journalists in Romania, starting her career in 1993 at Antena 1. He was editor-presenter of the Observator 19, and currently hosts „100 Minutes” and „Q & A” shows on Antena 3. She received many journalism awards and in 1999 she was named CNN official news correspondent in Romania. Sandra graduated Psychology and has a Masters in Human Resources. In her role as the President of the Mereu Aproape Foundation she coordinated always one of the most impressive educational campaign, „Lasati-ma sa invat”.

In 2010, following the campaign „Apa trece, Romania ramane” 75 affected families were given new homes after the devastating floods. The Foundation conducted fundraising campaigns for equipping Grigore Alexandrescu children’s hospital with medical equipment and helped in solving complicated medical cases. In 2011, Alessandra founded Intact Media Academy, Intact’s educational project, which came in a short time, a landmark in the formation of the new generation of journalists.
